"Remember Rockefeller at Attica" by Charles Mingus

Originally premiered on his album Changes One (1975), Charles Mingus (1922–1979) dedicated this piece to those involved in the Attica Prison riots of 1971. Nelson Rockefeller, the governor of New York at the time, was opposed to inmates' demands during the riot, and ultimately regained control of the prison via the use of force by New York State Police.
